Checking In With Your Immune System

Boost Immunity to Reduce Infection

The most common cause of poor health today is linked to chronic disease. However, that doesn’t mean we’re in the clear from infectious illness.

Infectious diseases are caused by pathogenic microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses, parasites, or fungi, and can be spread, directly or indirectly, from one person to another. Unlike chronic conditions caused by lifestyle factors, infectious diseases are managed by your immune system.

Not all infections are severe, for example, the common cold. However, the outcome of any infection depends on the health of your immune system.

Join me for my email series, Checking In With Your Immune System, to learn how the immune system fights infection, what causes infection, and how to boost overall immunity.

Get to Know Your Immune System

When it comes to health, we often focus on the prevention of chronic conditions such as arthritis, asthma, cancer, and heart disease, to name a few. Lifestyle habits are linked to such diseases and can be difficult to change.

While chronic diseases have replaced acute infectious diseases, the threat from infectious diseases still exists. I’ve created an email series to review the complexity of the immune system, how it works to defend you from illness, and how you can promote a healthy functioning immune system.

My goal is always to empower others through education. Gaining a deeper understanding of how your immune system protects you will enable you to take charge of your health and prevent the spread of infectious disease.
